I'm back from the most epic of holidays! How epic? Just have a scroll through the thread:
I’m back! Went offline for most of the last week, pics and stories to follow 🐊 pic.twitter.com/hRUcKMwgGU

Which the Twitter client on my iPad somehow decided to break into 2 threads:
At times this felt like navigating through a scene from Jurassic Park, just with wallabies rather than velociraptors 🦖 pic.twitter.com/VHa4kJw6kb

Holiday snaps aside, there was a heap of other stuff this week ranging from me actually reading a book to the impact of the Gun Trader breach to my personal favourite, Pwned Passwords finally passing the 1 billion queries per month milestone 😊
References
- "An Ugly Truth: Inside Facebook's Battle for Domination" is the first book I've sat down and read properly for a very long time (love 'em or hate 'em, Facebook has made an enormous impact on society and this is a fascinating read)
- Scott versus the patent troll (then Scott got hit with a takedown request due to the guy's signature being on a doc he shared, so... let's link back to it here, just for Streisand's sake 🙂)
- 1 BILLION queries on Pwned Passwords in a month! (I'm not even sure what the next milestone will be...)
- The Gun Trader data breach is much more worrying than it initially appeared (a bit of speculation about the real impact going on, but it's not pretty no matter how you look at it)
