I spent most of this week's update on the tweaking I went through with Azure's API Management service and then using Cloudflare to stop a whole bunch of requests that really didn't need to go all the way to the origin (or at least all the way to the API gateway sitting in front of the origin Azure Function instance). There's a blow-by-blow rundown of how it all happened in this video and it's fascinating to think that these things can actually be successful given all the red flags.
